At the beginning of August, I had an amazing opportunity to photograph with Simon Brettell for Ellie and Jack's Italian themed wedding. The wedding took place at Birmingham Register Office and then a second ceremony and reception at The Bond Company, Digbeth.

I started off with Jack, his groomsmen and his cat at their home in Yardley Wood, then met up with Ellie and the rest of their wedding party at Birmingham Register Office. I sensed from the get go that this was going to be special and I would be spoilt for choice with fun people, locations and street food to photograph.

Despite only knowing Ellie and Jack for a day, I could tell that the wedding screamed 'Ellie and Jack'. Their style from a gorgeous 50's lace wedding dress, to the pops of orange on the groomsmen's suit, the San Pellegrino to the homemade bake-off. Everything was how they had dreamt it, cool, Italian and fun.
