These winter weddings are just beautiful - dark, wet, moody and provide a totally differnt feel to summer wedding photography.

Lauren and Chris were married at the gorgeous (yet totally wonky) Soulton Hall near Shrewsbury. I had a brilliant day and loved shooting for one of my faves - Darren Gair Photography.

Their wedding decor was like a winter wonderland - beautiful golds and silvers amidst white twigs on the girls boquets and pop's of warm, deep orange that seemed to reflect the crumbling grandeur of Soulton Halls red brick walls.

It was an intamate wedding and all the better for it - so cosy and such a winter feel-good venue with open fires, candles and of course romance.
