2015 Wedding Round Up

There are two main things that come to mind when I think about wedding photography for me this year.

The first is community. This year has been an incredible learning curve for me and having shot a mixture of my own, first shooting for others, second shooting and even third shooting for others, it's safe to say that my growth as a photographer has come from a community that have inspired, transformed and pushed me to work as creatively as I can; allowing me to really tune in to what motivates me to photograph the way I do. There are some really talented photographers out there whose support and drive continues to inspire and if they read this, they know who they are. Thanks to you.

The second is of course the couples. If you have seen or read about my work before, you will know all my work starts and ends with people, that's you people reading this blog post now. My photography focuses on what you are about, how your relationship works and your general 'togetherness'. It's a very fortunate thing that I find people endlessly fascinating. I know that through my wedding photography journey, there will never be two weddings the same because no two couples are the same. Taking photos for a living is such a privileged position and when I get to share your story through photography, it's just the best feeling ever. The couples I met in 2015 have been awesome (give yourselves a pat on the back) and I cannot wait to get to know a whole bunch more of you in 2016.

Thank you for being part of my 2015!
