Chances are you may have heard of Blenheim Palace - it now belongs to the Duke of Marlborough and is well known for being the home and birthplace of Winston Churchill.
I struggle to even descibe places like this - they are almost too beautiful to put into words. No wonder this is the place Jamie chose to propose to his fianceé Rachel. Its such a pleasure for me to discover these different locations for Engagement shoots outside of my Birmingham playground.
I met the couple on a bitterly cold Sunday morning. There was crisp sunshine, but this did little by way of warming us up for their engagament shoot. Rachel and Jamie were very excited for their photo's, despite being initially unsure of how to 'be' infront of the camera. Ten minutes into the shoot, they were naturally interacting with very little direction from me (bravo!).
Rachel told me the story of how Jamie proposed and it was just wonderful. I'm not sure they would want me to share it with the world - but lets say the photo's in the pergola about two thirds of the way down this post are particularly special for the couple.
I can't wait ot shoot their wedding in August this year, I've got a feeling I'll be in for a real treat.
