Nicola and Dale - The Arden Hotel Wedding Photography

Just to get this straight - wedding photography is really important. Its important for many reasons, not least because of the matter of longevity and being able to share your memories with your family for years, it is also important because it is essentially a curated gallery of your nearest and dearest on one of the most important days of your life.

In the case of Nicola and Dale, we had our first meet at a coffee shop in Solihull and the second one was actually the wedding rehearsal - at Olton Friary a couple of weeks before the wedding. For me, this was an opportunity to not only see Nicola and Dale again but also establish relationships with the rest of their family. There was a lot of family, not to mention these guys had 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen too.

The importance of getting to know each other prior to their wedding day was clear when I received an e-mail from Nikki's Mom a couple of weeks after the wedding. She felt comfortable just to get in contact and pass on her feedback. This is how it read:

"Dear Amy-Rose, Oh wow what can I say Nikki & Dales wedding photos are fantastic- I feel like I have been able to live the whole day again. you have captured the moments and the atmosphere of the day beautifully. We were very lucky to find you- thank you so much for documenting the memories of their special day so perfectly. Brilliant editing too!! Very best wishes Gill"

The wedding day itself was perfect - its smooth running was down to the couples amazing planning skills (Nicola is a school teacher). The weather was beautiful at Olton Friary and Solihull Forest of Arden Hotel. Nicola and Dale were just a dream to photograph, so easy going. Not to mention beautiful, what a good looking couple they are.

Thanks so much to you both, you look ruddy fabulous x
