I loved photographing Dan and Chris's wedding for two reasons. Firstly, because it was fun. Every single guest was there to have a great time and there was no escaping getting involved in the celebration. Secondly, because they had planned their day around all the things that were important to them - it was all about having family and friends together in one place, no pretence, just lots of love and Italian laughter.
Their Birmingham registry office ceremony was brimming with smiles and excited energy. You know you're amongst good company when you're giggling along with them and you're not entirely sure why. Once we were in Henley-in-Arden, the spectacular performance by Tiffaney Wells, really set the party wheels in motion. Not to mention all the gorgeous, fresh Italian food cooked up by Maria Rosa at La Dolce Piazza.
Chris and Dan said about their photos: "They're absolutely fantastic!!! Thank you SO much. We've looked at them hundreds of times already."
...and that is why I can't get enough of this job.
